Arab Spring and Its Women on crossroads
These are creations I did to mark the International Women's day.
My creations for this event mainly reflect the recent
developments in the Arab world and its repercussions on its women. My questions were as to whether the much hyped Arab Spring will change the attitude
towards women or will there be a danger of losing rights they gained even under
dictatorships.
I think that as a result of growing up in an
environment surrounded by a brutally
suppressed youth uprising as well as a long running violent civil war, my work
tend to subconsciously search for reflection of peace, love and harmony.
Here's some of my pieces.. Leave your thoughts
